Terms of use
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms of use and authorise us to share your details with third parties to verify your identity and your payment card details. This includes obtaining pre-authorisation from your card issuer and authorisation for each purchase.
2. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms of use from time to time. We will post a notice of any changes on the website. Please check this page regularly to make sure you are aware of any changes. The changes apply to your use of the website from the date we publish the notice. If you do not accept the new terms of use, you must stop using the website. If you continue to use the website after the changes have taken effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the new terms of use.
We reserve the right to change or withdraw this website and the material on it (or any part of it), temporarily or permanently, without prior notice. By using this website, you acknowledge that we will not be liable to you for any change to, or withdrawal of, the website or its content. We also reserve the right to disable any user ID or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, if we believe you have breached these terms.
3. Registration
By using this website, you confirm that:
- you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;
- you are aged 18 or over;
- the details you provide when registering are accurate, current and complete; and
- you are not impersonating any other person or organisation.
Please tell us promptly if any of your personal details change. You can contact our customer services team by email or telephone.
4. Privacy policy
We treat all personal data as confidential and use it only in accordance with our privacy policy. By using this website, you consent to such processing and confirm that all the information you have provided is accurate.
5. Fraud prevention
To ensure that your credit card, debit card or other payment card is not used without your consent, we check the name, address and other personal details provided with your order against relevant third-party databases.
We take online fraud very seriously and do everything we can to prevent it.
We carefully check every order against the information you have provided. We may contact you to carry out further security checks and ask you to help us complete them. We do not tolerate fraud and will report any fraudulent transaction to the relevant authorities.
By accepting these terms of use, you consent to such checks being carried out. As part of these checks, the information you have provided may be disclosed to a registered credit reference agency, which may keep a record of it. This is done solely to confirm your identity. This is not a credit check and will not affect your credit score. All information you provide is handled carefully and securely, in line with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR.
6. Compliance with applicable law
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines relating to the website and its use. In particular, you must not:
- upload or transmit via the website any computer viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
- upload or transmit via the website any material that is defamatory, offensive or otherwise objectionable; or
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which it is hosted or any server, computer or database connected to it, or attack our website via a denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack.
Breaching this provision may be a criminal offence. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will cooperate with them by disclosing your identity. In the event of a breach, your right to use this website will cease immediately.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, a virus or other technologically harmful material that may affect your computer equipment, programs, data or other material as a result of your use of our website or your downloading of material from it or from any website linked to it.
7. Links to third-party websites
This website may contain links to other websites and material outside our control. We do not endorse these websites or this material and are not responsible for them, their content, their privacy practices, or any damage, loss or infringement arising from the use of, or reliance on, any advertising, content, products, material or services made available on external websites.
8. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the products you have ordered are not available, we will notify you by email (or by other means if you have not provided an email address). You can then choose to wait until the products are back in stock or cancel your order.
Your order is an offer to buy goods or services from us, which we are free to accept or decline. Please note that the automatic order acknowledgement you receive does not mean that we have accepted your order. The contract between you and us is formed on the later of (i) the date we take payment from you and (ii) the date we dispatch the goods or begin providing the services. We will then send you an email confirming that the contract has been formed (the ‘Dispatch Confirmation’). The contract relates only to the goods or services listed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We are not obliged to supply any other goods or services that may have been part of your order unless their dispatch has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the details of your order and payment are handled securely, insofar as this is within our control. However, unless we have been negligent, we will not be liable for any loss you suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to the information you provide when visiting our website or placing an order through it.
The products sold on the website are not intended for resale or distribution. We reserve the right to cancel orders or suspend accounts if we believe that products are being ordered in breach of this provision. Risk in the goods passes to you once they are delivered to the address you gave us. We accept no liability if you provide an incorrect delivery address or are not available to take delivery at the address you have provided.
9. Your right to cancel
If you have purchased goods or services as a consumer (that is, for personal use rather than for business purposes), you have the right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days of receiving the goods, or of the contract being formed for services (the ‘cancellation period’).
Our returns policy explains how to cancel.
10. Price and payment
All prices include VAT at the current rate (where applicable) and are correct at the time of publication. However, we reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice (this does not affect orders for which we have already sent a Dispatch Confirmation).
We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. Your card or account will be charged before the goods are dispatched or the services are provided.
We always do our utmost to ensure that the prices on our website are correct. However, errors may occasionally occur. In the unlikely event that a price is displayed incorrectly on the order page and we discover this before we have accepted the order in accordance with section 8, we will not be obliged to sell the goods to you at the price shown. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel but have already paid for the goods (and they have not yet been dispatched), we will refund the full purchase price.
You confirm that you are the holder of the credit or debit card, PayPal account or bank account used. All credit and debit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your card issuer declines the payment for any reason, we will not be liable for any resulting delay or failure to deliver.
If payment by credit or debit card cannot be completed for any reason, we may try to take payment again within 48 hours. If that also fails, we will email you at least 48 hours before any further attempt. If you do not want us to try to take payment again, you must cancel your order beforehand.
11. Discount codes
Discount codes may only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions. These may set out eligibility rules or a maximum order value. Please read the discount code terms before placing your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that do not meet the discount code terms, even if your credit or debit card has already been charged. If there is any conflict between the terms for a discount code and these terms of use, the discount code terms will prevail. You can request the terms of any discount code from our customer services team by email or telephone.
